I already use Outlook with a free POP3 account. What’s the difference?

In addition you get shared public folder space to centralize information or even (with our Enterprise packages) Sharepoint server for full document management and intranet functions such as HR, Timekeeping, Knowledgebase and more

What versions of Outlook does BIZARC support?
Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook 2003 (with Service Pack 2) and Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Entourage for MAC are fully supported for use with our Hosted Exchange service.
What is my Exchange mailbox limit?
The minimum size mailbox we offer is 1GB from just £1.00 per month. Additional mailbox space and archive storage can be purchased at an additional £1.00 per month per GB.
What happens if I go over my storage quota?
Prior to you reaching your limit you will be automatically notified by the automated Exchange administrator, initially when you hit 90% then daily as you get closer to being full. If you fail to archive out or remove email at this stage messages will start to get returned and sending will be limited
Do public folders count as part of my storage space usage?
Yes, when you are running more than one exchange account with us the storage limits are managed for the whole organization. This way you can give more space to higher volume users and public folders as and when its needed.
Can I use an IMAP or POP mail client, and leave mail on your server?
Yes, with IMAP mails will remain on the server by default, but with POP you will need to configure your client to “keep a copy on server”
Do I still need an anti-virus software on my desktop or laptop?
Yes, everyone should be running a good updated anti-virus client. We recommend a leading open source project ClamWin for those who wish to save on licensing as it works well with outlook and is updated daily.
Is there any support and training offered?
Yes. We offer access to all the Microsoft video training materials and produce guides on all areas that customers need help with. If you can't find it in our knowledgebase, just drop us a line and we'll record one for all our other customers who may be needing the same help
How often do you patch/update the Exchange server?
The servers may have to be taken off line for essential maintenance and software patches. For a detailed explanation of our maintenance and management schedule please visit the support pages on this site.

How secure is the server?
Security is of utmost importance to BIZARC. We employ the latest in security technology in all servers and monitor them continually, 24x7x365. Any unusual activity is automatically reported to our highly-trained monitoring team, who follow specific escalation procedures in the event of a breach.
Can existing data and email be moved to the new server?
Yes. You can either import your own mail files using our Assisted Migration service or you can take our a Migration support ticket £25.00 for each mailbox you need set up and copied and we'll do the rest.
What are the contract terms?
All contracts are setup to be monthly with discounts given for yearly commitments. We have the option to cancel with a 30-day cancellation notice. Specific terms will be in the SLA.
What if we decide to cancel the service?
BIZARC will simply terminate the service, remove the services from the server or transfer the services to the customer. Certain prepaid items may be required to be paid to BIZARC. Our intention is to make it very simple for you to enter or leave a hosting service engagement. We want you to use us to supplement your staff on your timeline, not ours.
Do you offer Sharepoint?
You bet! Our hosted Sharepoint service is secure, highly availably and will soon become something you don’t know how you existed without. For more info contact sales@bizarc.com
Do we need to transfer our DNS to your control?
No, but we can host your DNS for you. Selfishly we like this as we can again remove an area of potential problems for your email suffering outages. When we manage it for you it allows us to check settings instantly and help resolve domain issues without having to wait on 3rd party providers or instruct you what to do with them. If we are not doing your DNS, you will need the following information to provide to your DNS Provider: MX Records: mail.exchangeemail.co.uk CNAME Autodiscover: autodiscoverredirect@exchangeemail.co.uk
